Moscow - Russian Parliament today formally adopted the country's presidential elections will be held on 4 March 2012. Russian Senate unanimously approved the determination date.
Similarly, as reported by Russian news agency ITAR-TASS and AFP news agency reported on Friday (11/25/2011).
Prime Minister (PM) Russia's Vladimir Putin is expected to come back to win the presidency in the election after his protege, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev decided to not participate in the upcoming elections. With so Medvedev gave way for Putin to announce his candidacy.
Before the presidential election will be held parliamentary elections which will take place on December 4, 2011. The ruling party, United Russia leader Putin is expected to win the election.
ITAR-TASS reported, the announcement of the date of the presidential election will be posted on the Russian government newspaper on Saturday, November 26 tomorrow. That day will be the beginning of the campaign period.
